We would like to reassure all users of the Centre, that Sturfit is remaining open.

Huw Edwards, CEO of ukactive, said: “The fitness and leisure sector remains open until directed otherwise by Government, and will continue to support the mental and physical health of the nation during this difficult time as our nation adapts to life with Coronavirus.
“organisations have taken extra measures to ensure all surfaces are clean, and we are in constant dialogue with Public Health England (PHE) to ensure they remain safe and within the guidelines set by the Chief Medical Officer. “At this stage, the Government has not recommended that people stop going to gyms and leisure centres, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that people can continue to go out to exercise.
Users of the Centre:
We ask that you use the antibacterial sprays available in the gym and wipe down the gym equipment before and after use. Please also wash your hands before using the gym or starting a class. There is antibacterial alcohol gel available, as an added precaution. We would also recommend washing your hands before leaving.
Please ensure that if you are feeling unwell, have a fever or persistent cough, you should not be entering the building. We would advise the most vulnerable to please follow the Government guidelines.
