All
We just wanted to reassure our members and users that we are watching the current situation very closely (as I am sure you are too).
Following the Governments best advice, we are presently not shutting the centre. However, this position could change daily so please do check the website/Facebook page etc before you visit.
We would also suggest that our older members (65+) might want to think very seriously about not coming at all for the time being – we will of course adjust your membership renewal date accordingly so you do not lose any time benefit – Contact Mel or Roger to discuss.
In the meantime obviously we are doing everything we can to mitigate risk; please do your part by using the hand and equipment sanitiser as instructed, and wash your hands thoroughly before and after your work out. As far as possible maintain a distance from other members, and of course if you are feeling unwell, please follow the government guidelines and self-isolate.
If you are looking for the latest factual advice and information, this interview from BBC Radio 4 yesterday morning with Sir Patrick Vallance, the UK’s Chief Scientific Adviser is well worth a listen – https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p086jfg5
Thank you everyone, stay well
Courtenay
Chairman of the Trustees
