As a child my first passion was Rhythmic Gymnastics. I then studied choreography and dance (1993-1997) then danced professionally for ten years, both internationally and in Latvia.
I then moved into teaching (2011) and it was here that I began my interest in Yoga and Pilates, gaining qualifications in Latvia and then resat the exams in the UK passing with credit.
“Yoga is not asking you to believe in anything in particular; Yoga is saying “Experience things!” Yoga is not a belief. It is the penetration of one’s own existence.” (Osho, also known by the name Bhagwan, controversial scholar and philosopher)
Hatha Yoga is a type of Yoga in which the main emphasis is on physical exercises, poses or asanas, also breathing exercises (pranayama) and relaxation. The consciousness of the body, mind, and spirit of unity.
Yoga has changed my lifestyle in body and mind which I portray in my classes.
All my classes are open to all levels and I make sure that each person works within their own boundaries. I get great personal satisfaction seeing my clients changing and improving their quality of life.
Yoga is the Lifetimes Journey… I still discover and learn.
